NASRDA is seeking innovative ideas from Nigerians who have expertise in the following thematic areas that can provide technological solutions to some of the challenges and problems we face in Nigeria:

• Robotics
• Artificial intelligence / Cyber-security
• Disruptive Space Applications
• Nanotechnology

Prizes:

The Prize for each of the thematic areas list above are:

1st  Position: N1,000,000 
2nd  Position: N750,000 
3rd  Position: N 500,000 
Plus mentorship and incubation opportunities.

Participants for NASRDA Hackthon 2023:

• Must be a Nigerian with a valid means of identification.
• Must have a product or innovative solution that solves specific problems relating to any of the thematic areas listed above.
• Must not be a company representative with a product in the market.
• Must be ready to physically participate in the hackathon program in Abuja throughout the period.

NASRDA is pleased to host a technological fair (Tech Fair) in conjunction with the NASRDA Hackathon 2023 that will bring together individuals, companies, businesses, institutions and agencies that have produced established/ market-grade technological solutions, product and services to exhibit and demonstrate their products, prototype, ideas and innovations in a technological fair (Tech Fair) co-located with NASRDA Hackathon 2023. The Tech Fair participants are required to bring Solutions that are either in  development stage, prototype level or even already launched solutions that has gained commercial traction. The Tech Fair also aims to provide a platform for businesses to meet innovators and inventors.
